About this 1996 Ford F350 4x4 truck (becomes a Texas classic in 2021)
The good
This truck is a 7.3l diesel 4x4 crew cab manual with unknown miles (odometer was dead) with an E4OD automatic transmission. Power windows, power door locks, power brakes, power rear view mirrors, power steering, etc. The color is red with a gray interior. This truck was a massive overhaul.
The oversized tires are in good condition (less than 2k miles) on Alcoa factory rims. The engine was replaced with a good working one with just under 300k miles. The front differential, transmission, transfer case & both driveshafts, have been completely rebuilt. A cold air intake has been installed. The headlights, tail lights, headlight bezels, grill vacuum pump, fuel pump, fuel tank pick-up screens, valve cover gaskets, batteries, batteries, EBCM, ICP and CPS, fuel bowl, brakes, oversized transmission cooler, vacuum pump, belts, hoses, differential U-bolts, front leaf spring bushings and many other parts are new. Most parts are Motorcraft. There is a 4' downpipe with a 5" exhaust that dumps under the bed just after the axle. The interior is a 6/10. Door panels have the typical wear and tear with some parts missing. The dash pad has been replaced with a good one. The damaged bed was replaced with a good quality one. There is a 2017 bumper in the bed that has not been mounted. There are no codes thrown when checked with my Snap-On MT2500 scanner. All items in the truck that have been removed will go with the truck for you to put it back together.
The bad
I am having to jump through some hoops to get the title. It is currently not for sale until the title is secured. I have been scavenging working parts off this truck (since most of those parts are new), to get the parts truck engine started. The camp shell and tailgate have been SOLD. I have additional tailgates that can be chosen from that will go with the truck. There is a slight miss in the engine when cold that I believe is probably a loose injection connector under the valve cover. There is some minor bodywork that needs to be done. Extra parts will not be available unless you want to purchase them separate.
