It's only the best truck ever built. Yes, the legendary power stroke 7.3l diesel is probably the second best motor ever built (2nd only to the cummins inline 6) but the actual Ford truck far exceeds the Dodge in overall reliability and quality. Thousands of these trucks disappeared when traded in for newer ones. Due to the high milage nature, dealerships sold them at auction or they were crushed when the price of steel was high in 2008-2009. Many were severely abused as work trucks and maintenance was ignored. However, they are coming into their own right now. I believe with the over-computerization, decline of Ford engineering and lack of self-servicing option of the new Ford diesels, we will see a dramatic resurgence of this poplar truck. Trying to find one today that is a good candidate for use or restoration will be difficult as they become more rare and sought after. I've gone through 35 trucks and kept these few for restoration projects. I've only been collection 95-97 F250 and F350 trucks. These OBS trucks are just about to be consider eligible for classic status.
None of these truck are registered or have been inspected for registration. They can not be legally driven away. They should be towed or trailered. Since I haven't working on these trucks for a couple of years, my disclosure here will be as accurate as possible. However, I will not be able to disclose exactly what has been done and what remains to be done. I promise to be as honest and forthcoming as possible. Knowing the time, effort, blood, sweat and tears I have invested, I have set my pricing based on what I believe the market will bear. Most are mechanically sound and ready for paint and body work as well as interior restoration.
The is not a business. This has been a hobby of mine for several years. Due to family issues, I must liquidate the hobby.
I will not reply to unreasonable offers
